Retention, Retention, Retention! Volunteer Town Hall
What exactly is meant by volunteer retention anyway? And why is it so important? Whether or not you have a formula for measuring retention, it’s something every volunteer manager should be thinking about at every stage of the volunteer process. This interactive Town Hall will take a fresh look at the concept and importance of volunteer retention, and examine some of the reasons why volunteers decide whether to stay on, or move on -- and how we as managers can help influence that decision. A short presentation will be followed by breakout rooms where participants can share their own organizations’ take on retention, and best practices for keeping volunteers motivated, engaged, and coming back for more.
